Chocolate Boutique

It was with a squeal of delight that I discovered that the Chocolate Boutique, a little slice of chocolate heaven had opened at the bottom of Great Western Road. On Monday I made a special trip with my Mum to visit the shop and the only adequate word I can think to describe it is WOW!

The shop also boasts 3 huge cabinets filled to the brim with luscious imported Belgian chocolates in every flavour, colour, chocolate and shape imaginable. It is fair to say I was very close to drooling on the floor (embarrassing!!) I purchased a bag stuffed full of truffles, pralines, caramels, creams….i’m nearly drooling now just thinking about them. Due to my diet / sugar-free lifestyle I have actually asked my husband to store them in his office otherwise I would have scoffed the entire bag in one sitting which would have lead to me be being very sick but very happy.

The guys in the shop are awesome and so helpful. If you are in need of a decadent indulgence you have to visit them – I promise you you’ll be in for a treat.

100% agree with all your comments I have made 2 visits in less than 24 hours, trying to nibble them slowly but fighting a losing battle. As Arnie says ” I will be back” (hopefully next weekend). There is no competition with your dads tablet as he makes the traditional firm tablet where as the Chocolate Boutique homemade tablet is soft (got a sneaky taste on my 2nd visit), both melt in the mouth so I think we should call it a draw.

Are your chocolates suitable for vegetarians and do they contain alcohol?

      Thanks

Hi, I don’t actually sell chocolates or own the store, I just write a little review of the chocolate shop. X
