BBC Good Food Show – It’s Nearly Time

As I told you a few weeks back I am very excited to be an official blogger for this years BBC Good Food Show Scotland next weekend. Last year I spent what can only be described as an insane amount of money on mostly sweet treats, cheese and booze, and I fully intend to do the same this year. It is fair to say my friend and I were more than a little tipsy with all the samples we managed to get through, I really can’t be held responsible if the lovely stall holders kept plying me with delicious liquor!

So I can be fully prepared for my wonderful day at the show I have been spending sometime pouring over all the exhibitors and chef appearances, and I thought I would pick out a few of things I am most looking forward to seeing and trying.

First things first it has to be the The Berry & Hollywood masterclass on the Supertheatre which is sponsored by Kenwood on Friday morning. I will be making a bee line straight for my tickets for this show as soon as I get into the hall on Friday morning and fully intend to sit front row like the complete fan girl that I am.

I would absolutely love to go see Tom Kitchin in the Supertheatre on Sunday too but with renovations well underway at the new flat it is extremely unlikely that I will be able to take 2 days off. This is definitely something to go check out though if you are going.

On the Interview Stage sponsored by Lakeland I really want to check out the Mary Berry interview…who doesn’t want to just hang out and chill with the Berry and listen to her talk about cakes, bakes, sponges, biscuits, jams….just the thought makes me sigh with happiness.

Now lets talk exhibitors, there are just so many which I am excited to visit. Here is a tiny selection of the exhibitors I am most looking forward to visiting.

I’ve planned a similar post, I cannot wait to visit my favourite stalls and discover new ones. That’s what I love about the GFS! Definitely making a bee line for the baking gods though!
