Kimbles – 4th Day of Foodmas
Where do I start with Kimbles? How about it’s chocolate heaven!
I have always loved Kimbles which is located in St Enochs centre, but since they moved to their new unit beside Hamleys, they seem to have taken things to a new level!
They have a gorgeous cafe with a tempting menu and a lovely chef who will happily provide you with some tasty dishes to sustain you during your Christmas shopping – I hear the pulled pork burger is to die for!
The shelves at Kimbles are stocked to the rafters with luscious Belgium Chocolates in every size and Christmas shape you could possibly imagine…I think it is safe to say there is something here to suit everyone’s taste and budget.
My eye thought was immediately drawn to the boxes of hand-made chocolates which looked incredible, and taste even better. These boxes can be bought pre-filled or you can pick a selection and fill the box yourself, prices start at £19.99 for 16 chocolates. A little pricey but believe me when I say they look and taste amazing….a super gift for all the lovely ladies in your life.
Another lovely gift available from Kimbles is their build a hamper service. Basically you walk round the shop picking out all the items you want to put in a hamper and the lovely staff will build a beautiful hamper for you. This means that you can taylor your gift to your recipient, I for example would be extremely happy to get hamper stuffed full of dark chocolate….hint hint Mr G!
Kimbles are a brilliant locally owned store so if you are looking for chocolates this year pop in and see them and they will sort you out.
Plus you can admire the AH-mazing gingerbread mansion in the window which was made in house…serious gingerbread mad skillz!
