Happy Easter Food Bunnies!
It’s been a somewhat hectic week at Geek HQ…In fact so hectic that I am having to write this on Sunday morning rather than in advance on Saturday afternoon like I usually do.
I kicked the week off with Brunch at Singl-end with the awesome Yelp Glasgow crew, I had never been before so was very excited to try it and they didn’t disappoint at all….SO GOOD!
I also hit up the new look McPhabbs this week, which is now run by the same team that own Firebird, it looks brilliant. The same but more modern, definitely brighter and just has an all round great vibe now. The food was excellent too which always helps.
On Thursday I was invited to the launch night of the Glasgow Restaurant Festival which is currently running out of a cool vintage Spiegeltent on Candleriggs Square in the Merchant City. Here you can experience one off mash-up nights by some of the best chefs in Glasgow. It’s going to be a great few weeks so be sure to check out some stuff – it’s there until April 24th.
I actually went to the first event at the Festival which was was a secret dining pop-up, the chefs turned out to be the wonderful Section 33…the food was just outstanding. Expensive but completely worth it.
And lastly I ended the week seeing Adele on Saturday night with Pa Geek…just WOW! She was perfection and I was in complete awe at just how utterly wonderful and genuine she is – I think I Love her! #GirlCrush
On top of all this we also spent the week looking at new cars….like I said it has been a busy week.
Enjoy your easter Sunday and have a great week kids.
